The BRG24106-family combines the functionality of a SATA carrier and a PCIe to PCI Bridge on a single module. The SATA carrier feature provides a mechanism to utilize the SATA links on the PCIe/104 bus connector on select RTD PCIe/104 cpuModules. This feature allows user to add a 2.5” hard drive without the need of external out-of-stack cabling. The PCIe to PCI bridge provided by the BRG24106 allows the addition of a PCI bus segment to the PCIe/104 system which can provide up to four additional peripheral cards.
